Military spouses are the unsung heroes of the armed forces. Their contributions do so much to support and strengthen the home front. This national award is designed to recognize the invaluable contributions and achievements of the 1.1 million military spouses stationed in the U.S. and abroad. It honors their unwavering commitment to our country and their communities, and publicly acknowledges their own service and sacrifice for our nation.
