Dr. Christina D. Love

Dr. Love joined the Armed Forces Insurance Board of Directors in July 2023.

Dr. Love currently serves as the Director of the Spouse Development Office at Army University, Fort Leavenworth, KS.  She previously served as a Senior Leadership Instructor/Senior Executive Service (SES) Strategic Leader Development and Mentor Program Lead for the Army Management Staff College.

Dr. Love spent 21 years as a military spouse committed to supporting military families and the Army community. Her career spans over 20 years working with diverse backgrounds fostering an inclusive organizational culture that values innovation, collaboration, diversity, trust, and employee engagement. She has extensive experience translating opportunities into accomplishments, in community engagement, cross-functional coordination, and educational development.

She earned her Doctorate of Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) in Prairie View, Texas.

She has always been committed to public service in various organizations. Her current professional affiliations include being a Member of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, the International Association of Women, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is currently serving in the 4th Cohort of the 2022-2023 National Leadership Academy’s Delta Fellows Program.
