Colonel Norman D. Greczyn, Army, Retired

COL Greczyn has been a member of Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) since 1971. He served as chairman of the Subscribers' Advisory Committee from 1998-2002 and again from 2009 to 2015.

COL Greczyn spent 30 years in the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments in armor and cavalry units. He served in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in an armored brigade attached to the 2nd Marine Division.

After retiring from the Army in 2002, COL Greczyn worked for six years at AFI as Director of Marketing and later, Director of Programs. He also earned a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

COL Greczyn holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy and has a graduate degree in English literature from Duke University. He is also a graduate of the Command and General Staff CGSC and the US Army War College.
