Chief Master Sergeant Danny R. Walker, Air National Guard, Retired
With a combined effort of 25 years in the U.S. Air Force and the Kansas National Guard, CMSgt Walker has been an active-duty member and a traditional guardsman holding numerous positions including roles in Computer Operations, Maintenance Systems Analyst for Aircraft Maintenance, Plans and Programs for Information Technology systems, Visual Information and most recently as a Human Resource Advisor for the Kansas National Guard focusing on diversity, demographic shifts, and formal mentoring programs.
Retiring from the Air National Guard in March 2012, CMSgt Walker currently works for Corning as an IT Manager with his team focusing on Software Asset Management using ITIL and IT Software Asset Management methodologies and strategies to manage key corporate software assets with a deep understanding of the risks and technology required to ensure safe computing environments.
CMSgt Walker earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Friends University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Information Technology Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) and certified in ITIL Foundations.
CMSgt Walker has been a member of Armed Forces Insurance since 2011.
