Dr. Christina D. Love

Dr. Love joined the Armed Forces Insurance Board of Directors in July 2023.

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Love is recognized as a transformational leader who delivers results. Her vision and leadership drive strategic change, ensuring organizational effectiveness. She has a proven track record of leading people, managing resources, and solving complex problems. She currently serves as the Director of the Department of Civilian Leader Development at the Army Management Staff College, where she leads a multidisciplinary department of senior civilian professionals, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with leader development and national security priorities.

In her previous role, Dr. Love established the Spouse Integration Office, where she served as the Director. In this position, she directed a complex enterprise-level office, acting as the lead integrator, championing the needs of military spouses, and developing and implementing education program initiatives.

Dr. Love earned her Doctorate in Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston in West Virginia, and she also holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) in Prairie View, Texas.

Additionally, Dr. Love has actively participated in community organizations at local, regional, and national levels. She has received numerous honors and awards throughout her career and has dedicated 21 years as a military spouse, giving her a deep understanding and passion for delivering solutions that truly serve the community.
